this works out to 2 seeds per sq ft or 8" apart
1 gram covers 24 sq ft

20ml container weighs 20 gram
should seed 400-480 sq ft

9 grams =375 seeds

Red Russian Garlic variety

Red Russian Garlic variety Allium ophioscorodon.
The distinctive wrapper leaves of these big bulbs are slightly purple. Red Russian garlic has the ability to withstand soggy winter soils better than any of the others.

This is a hardneck Asiatic Garlic. Asiatic varieties are earlier harvesting than other types

Red Russian is an early maturing variety and will store for about 4-5 months. The fact that they can be harvested early plus their relatively short storage time makes them a good choice for those wishing to stagger their harvest times and have fresh garlic available for a longer time.

Red Russian garlic tend to have a strong and hot taste. Usually will have 4-8 large cloves. If the scapes are kept on the plant, the bulbils tend to be relatively large.
