Seeded a bed next to the asparagus with daikon
Two rows of winter radish summer cross 3 hybrid dam-13
And three rows of tillage radish Dam-13
Between the rows planted a row of Endive Broad leaf Batavian OSC 13
And two rows of arugula dragons tongue Dam14 - reddish tints
And two rows of Greens Choi Sum-Moulin Rouge hybrid Dam14

Also taped the poly on the greenhouse and placed over the mixed bed of beets carrots etc's
Trimmed a couple of branches from the spruce at the front so the lawn mower can get by easier

July 31/13 leeks endive

Seeded 1/3 bed of
OSC leek large musselburg (13) and
OSC endive broad leaved Batavian (13)
For overwintering

By year end the endive was okay - got a few heads
Leeks didn't get very big- see what they are like in the spring

Endive has just started to sprout.

Put Batavian Endive into one of the new boxes made today. Seed is from 2006 so we will see.
