Found Killdeer nest on driveway
Sprayed roundup on beds, drive, veggie garden
Trimmed, wisteria potentilla by pool,tamarix by basement, dogwood by youngs birch
Emptied composter
Planted broccoli in bed, re- seeded rapini, from before- looks like cold killed it.
Sewed, spargo spinach in another bee box
Dug mulberry from front bed planted past Chinese elm, dug some redbud put under hawthorn along road
Outside transplanted pansy to 1204 flats,
Moved potentilla from arbour bed to corn boil bed.
Grackles- do I have them on the run?
2 canada geese landed on the roof.
Fertilized trees with wet fertilizer- used about 3-4 bags
Started up rototiller
Inside- transplanted 1204 tomato to 4” pots, also some pepper and eggplant
2008 mini pepper seed didn’t grow.
Transplanted some eggplants, pepper to 1204,
Trransplanted delphinium to 1204,
Seeded more basil

Planted about 80 spanish onion sets cost bulk at Country Depot $1.00
Planted about 30 dutch onion sets. Partial package from “” 1.99
Planted 5 Lilies cost 8.49 near ramp between potentilla and viburnum at edge of ties. Marco Polo –oriental lily grows 24-36”, bulb size 12-16 cm circumf.blooms july to October , very fragrant. Prefers partial to full shade/plant 1-2 inches deep 8 inches apart
Transplanted multiplier onions from boxes to under middle tree lilac

Did seeding flat 20 rows by 10 wide- 2 rows of 10=20- except mints- one row each
Dollar store Double mixed portulaca, dollar store crackerjack marigold mixed 36” tall, purple cleome from RBG rock garden, pink cleome collected, Echinacea collect from /Kevin/Jackie, cilantro, 1 row dollar store spearmint, helichrysum Straw Flowers (dams), dams Italian parsley, dams peppermint, susan ivanovics aster mix.

April 12 more cuttings hemlock, gold cedar, hinoki cypress, mahonia, potentilla, dwf viburnum, honeysuckle, spread yew, hetz juniper, weigela, lilac preston, red leaf rose, shrub rose, burn bush, quince, privet, emerald cedar, alberta spruce, gold and silver euonymus
Put cuttings downstairs under lights
Sewed purple grass in date container –clear plastic. –under lights
Put acorns from garage into pot, put trumpet vine into pot- put them downstairs under lights
Outside planted the 2 emerald cedars that were uprooted from septic tank fiasco in far corner
Scattered black sunflower seed in beds
Put cuttings downstairs under lights
