added black soil to the beds at the new steps near the pine
split the variegated hosta that had been stuck there- Came from under the old deck
Added hostas to the primroses that had been transplanted there
also a ostrich fern from front of the house, and some violas from under the mulberry
Planted a canna, a castor bean, liatris
plus a zinnia and marigold that had been seeded
basil also
add black soil on top of the she-so basil-
bed here also contains evening primrose, and lilies and shasta daisy clump

New boxes and late tillage radish sept 15/13
Took apart 2 by 4,6,8 from office
Bought 2 2by8 $7 and one 2by6 $4.50
Ended up with
2 bed 4 by 8
4 beds 4 by 4
And one on the end 4 by 37"
Most of the board were not treated so bought untreated spruce
Added soil and sand
Seeded with tillage radish even though general seed salesman says they should go in by sept 1st
Also planted some of grandpas hosts day lily and bleeding heart along front tree line, Under birches cedars
spruce, willow. Also one iris

Dug some of the horsehoe pits
Trimmed hibiscus by front walk,
Put t stakes by small trees
Trimmed mulberry,
Transplanted pachysandra from front to under locust
Split rhubarb and planted one by fence, one by bean bed, one by corn pot potentilla
Transplanted hosta to under middle ivory silk
Transplanted carpet phlox to beside fence
Gave darrel some poplar and willow shoots
