Red Haven Peach Harvest

The Peaches were getting red. Better pick them before- they fall, or before the raccoons come and eat them like they did to the Apricots.
Pick most of them, left some of the smaller ones to get bigger -maybe.

Maybe this was just the year. or maybe the little bit of trimming last fall helped.

Cleanup

trimmed back the bottom of the mugho pine, thinned out branches and cut back the top.
Removed old Tamarix juniper right down to the roots that had been getting ratty looking.
Cut back right to the ground the mahonia.
Trimmed the wisteria to single stem with 3 branches. Cut it back hard.
Trimmed Viburnum - only a bit, but trimmed off dead branches
Removed some Devil's walking sticks
touched up the Trumpet vine

Now what to do with this area? Maybe add more pachysandra?
