Watermelon harvest September 4/13

Vines have turned 90%?dead
Plus two large fruit picked earlier

Not bad for basically 2 melon "hills"
Had seeded 3 hills but one died early
The watermelon vines don't spread as much as squash, the vines could have almost fit onto the plastic mulch.
The tomatoes all around kept encroaching on the watermelon

Aerate 2x and over seeded Sept 3/13

lot of bindweed in this area

Radish seeding

Seeded under red and white onion bed with radish

Removed cucumber bed vines to compost
A large pail of cucumber were hidden in the tall grasses and weeds
Removed the poly row cover
Seeded with greencrop radish

Sprayed future squash bed in front past fruit tree Sept 1/13 am

Re-seeded winter spinach sept 1/13

Very few germinated so reseeded on between the few plants Nd also seeded a new row in between

Children's box

Seeded Beets and transplanted some lettuce int o spots between the eggplant and pepper volunteers

Garlic bed weeds

Notice the difference weeds wise

Treated the new garlic bed with the same 

Per 32 sq ft use about 2 tsp in watering can

Label is 2 Tbsp per 10 m2
