Sept 27- 2015

Transplanted the three yews that were under the locust and were out at the chimney to along the ramp where the Mint Julep juniper was removed by Jeff
Dug out the oregano from along the deck.
Also dug out the cotoneaster and moved to to under the middle Ivory Silk lilac

Also transplanted some pachysandra from under the locust and under the mugho pine to along side the deck and under the viburnum carlesi

Bought a t CVK Connons for $6.99 less 20% on sales
Inside were 3 bulbs

Took them apart- they are soft neck garlic
From picture thought they were hard necks

Three bulbs yielded 8, 8, &9 cloves
Planted in four rows: 6,6,6,7 per row

Rest of 8' box planted 10 rows of leeks from bulblets at flower head-

Put 10-11 per row

Seeded Bloomsdale spinach

Dam15 Spinach Bloomsdale Dark green in 4 rows in bed with soil from locust
A few parsley growing already
Hoping to get some this fall and then a crop in early spring
Covered seed with Pelletized top dressing as was out of peat moss
