New raised beds


Used old vinyl decking to make a bed-  
10 ft long + 6 ft long - 16 ' total
Put some ash branches then one wheelbarrow manure
Then emptied second compost bin

Anyway the two row corms were starting to sprout more
Should be room for 3 more sections

Compost had rats

Last week whacked adult rat and threw it in the hayfield- hope it was dead
Today emptied second bin found another rat who escaped and hid under the poplar firewood
But also found about ten baby rats
